Founded in 2025 by Angela Ferguson, WE UPLIFTT is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering Jamaicans through financial aid, medical support, and resources for single parents, including mentoring and financial literacy. In response to Hurricane Melissa, we’re providing urgent relief and recovery support, restoring dignity, stability, and hope.
Our mission is to restore dignity, stability, and hope by uplifting lives one step at a time. In the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, we provide rapid relief, safe shelter, food, and clean water to families in crisis while supporting long-term recovery. At WE UPLIFTT, we ensure no one is left behind when disaster strikes.
We envision a resilient Jamaica, strong, united, and unshaken by any storm. With courage, hope, and faith, we embrace progress and honor our heritage. Through compassion and empowerment, we help individuals rebuild their lives, achieve self-sufficiency, and create a brighter, stronger Jamaica for generations to come.
